The purpose of IAYM is to nurture out of the box thinking in bright and young high school and college students by involving them in interesting real-world projects.

Inviting All Young Minds is a summer programme offered by MSF which initially began as the “Work & Learn” programme in which undergraduate and graduate students undertook an internship at MSF with students learning computing and mathematical skills and utilising them in diverse projects ranging from image processing to education technology.

In 2009, the Work & Learn programme was expanded into “Inviting All Young Minds”, a month-long summer internship featuring high school and college students from all over India. These events have been hosted by prestigious schools like Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, New Delhi and The Airforce School, Subroto Park and partly-sponsored by the National Council for Science and Technology Communication.

Each of our past editions of IAYM have had upto 70 high school and college students from across India. We have also been supported by the Department of Science and Technology, NIIT and Mr N. R. Narayana Murthy, founder of Infosys.
